A simple way to teach kids or teens gratitude

Why teach kids gratitude?

Teaching young people how to feel gratitude is a game changer for their mental health and wellbeing.  It is simple and short and easy to do.  Even if their gratitude is directed towards their gaming/tech – it is the feeling of gratitude that it generates that is important here.

Practising, little and often can help shift moods, calm the nervous system and move the brain from reactive to reflective mode.  Works for adults too!

  1. I like how you said that teaching young people how to feel gratitude is a game changer for their mental health and wellbeing. My sister wants to apply for some online meditation classes to reduce her anxiety. Thanks for the tips on gratitude meditation and I will share your tips with my sister!
