Meditation Hub
The Connected Kids Meditation Hub offers access to an audio and podcast subscription. Please be advised of the following terms:
- Billing: Subscription payments will be charged on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the payment option selected at the time of purchase.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time by notifying us in writing at info@teachchildrenmeditation.com.
- Access Upon Cancellation: Once you cancel, your access to the subscription will continue until the end of the current billing period. After that date, no further payments will be charged.
- Refund Policy: Please note that Connected Kids does not offer refunds for payments already received.
By subscribing, you agree to these terms and conditions.
Monthly membership access to courses/resources
If a course or resource is provided on a monthly or annual subscription basis, the following terms apply:
- Access and Payments: Access to course modules or resources is contingent upon the ongoing receipt of subscription payments. If a payment fails or is halted, access will be placed on hold. Our system will make several attempts to process the outstanding payment.
- Free Trial Periods: If a free trial is offered, refunds are not available for payments made after the free trial period ends.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your membership at any time without penalty. To cancel, you must notify us in writing by email at info@teachchildrenmeditation.com.
- Refund Policy: Payments received by Connected Kids are non-refundable under any circumstances.
- Access Upon Cancellation: Membership cancellation will result in the termination of access to online modules from the date the next subscription renewal would have been due.
Course payment plans
If a course is offered through a payment plan provided directly by Connected Kids Ltd, the following terms apply:
- Access and Payments: Access to course modules is contingent upon the successful and timely completion of all scheduled payments under the payment plan.
- Failed Payments: If a scheduled payment fails, our system will attempt to process the payment up to three times. If the payment remains unsuccessful, we will contact the customer to clarify how they wish to proceed with the payment plan.
- Non-Payment and Course Access:
- If a payment is missed and no response is received to our communication, access to the course will be placed on hold for 14 days.
- If payment or a response is not received within this period, access to the course will expire.
- Payment Plan Holiday: Clients may request a one-month holiday from their payment plan by contacting us in writing 30 days prior to the requested date at info@teachchildrenmeditation.com. Approval of such requests will be at our discretion and will be communicated directly to the client.
- Refund Policy:
- No refunds will be issued for course sign-up fees.
- Payments already received under the payment plan are non-refundable, even in the event of cancellation or course termination.
- Cancellation Notice: Clients wishing to cancel their payment plan must provide a minimum of 14 days’ notice by email to info@teachchildrenmeditation.com.
- Certification: Professional students enrolled via a payment plan may attend the online certification class; however, certification will not be issued until the full payment for the course has been received.
Special offers/bonuses
Connected Kids Ltd occasionally provides discounts, bonuses, and special offers. The following terms apply:
- Promotion Deadlines: All promotional deadlines are specified in the UK timezone (GMT). Customers are responsible for ensuring compliance with these deadlines based on their time zone.
- Bonuses with Free Trial Subscriptions:
- If a bonus is associated with a free trial subscription, it will only be applied after the trial period ends and the first subscription payment is successfully processed.
- If the subscription is canceled before the first payment is made, the bonus will not be applied.
- No Cash Substitutes: Bonuses cannot be exchanged for cash or any other monetary substitute.
Workshops – face to face training
Connected Kids Ltd does not offer or promote face to face workshops. If you have received training from one of our recognised Connected Kids Trainers, please see the following:
- Trainer Terms and Conditions: Each trainer operated under their own customer terms. Please contact the trainer directly to review and confirm their specific terms and conditions.
- Contacting Trainers: By clicking on “connect with [trainer’s name],” you will be directly emailing an independent Connected Kids Trainer.
- Liability Disclaimer: Connected Kids Ltd is not responsible for the training, content, or services provided by independent Connected Kids Trainers as part of the Connected Kids Programme. Any course bookings or agreements are subject to the trainer’s terms and conditions.
Online course – booking and certification terms
The following terms apply to online module-based courses provided exclusively by Connected Kids Ltd:
- Course Purchase and Certification:
- Online module-based courses must be purchased directly through Connected Kids Ltd.
- For Connected Kids professional members in training, a 12-month window from the date of purchase is provided to schedule an online certification class. Following this online class, members have 12 months to complete their assessment. Extensions may be available but are not guaranteed.
- For trauma course participants, if you have completed our Connected Kids Professional Training – pre-requisites to attend do not apply. Pre-requisites for trauma professionals (eg; counsellors, social workers, psychotherapists)
- evidence of professional qualification
Pre-requisites for qualified meditation/yoga teachers
- qualification certification evidence
- up to date PVG/disclosure check (or local equivalent).
Documentation can be provided at any time within your online training access. On receipt of this information, and completion of the trauma modules, we will issue your course certificate.
- Extensions:
- If the 12-month timeframe is nearing expiration, Connected Kids Professional members may be able to purchase an extension to allow additional time to book the online certification class.
- After attending the online certification class, members have 12 months to submit their assessment for certification and may be able to purchase an extension to allow time for completing the assessment.
- Failure to meet these deadlines may result in the member being unable to complete the course to certification.
- Certification Requirements:
- Accredited certification from Connected Kids Ltd is granted exclusively to students who (within the above timeframe with/without alloted extensions):
- Complete all required modules (Foundation and Professional).
- Attend the online certification class.
- Successful pass of the course assessment.
By enrolling in an online module-based course directly with Connected Kids Ltd, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any such amendments will be communicated to you with at least 30 days’ notice prior to taking effect.
Following any advice from courses/books
Connected Kids Trainers are not medically qualified. If you are undertaking a Connected Kids course or reading the Calm Kids or Connected Kids books, please do not discontinue any medication prescribed to children without first consulting a qualified medical professional. Suggestions provided in our courses and books are not a substitute for professional medical advice.
Meditation Teacher Register
The Meditation Teacher Register is exclusively available to qualified Connected Kids Professional members. The following terms apply:
- Membership and Fees:
- A non-refundable sign-up fee is required to join the register.
- An annual payment allows members to amend their profile details
- Members may pause or cancel their profiles at any time.
- Renewal Policy:
- If the annual payment is not made by the renewal date, members will have a 2-week grace period to complete the payment.
- If the payment is not received within this timeframe, the profile will be removed, and the member will need to rejoin, including paying a new sign-up fee.
- Independent Operation:
- Meditation teachers operate independently from Connected Kids Ltd and are fully responsible for their own professional indemnity insurance, terms, and customer service.
1:1 Energy Intuitive Distance healing sessions
Booking & Payment – Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your session. Payments are non-refundable.
Rescheduling – You may reschedule your session with at least 24 hours’ notice. If you are late, your session will still end at the scheduled time. No-shows forfeit their session with no refund or rescheduling option.
Personal Responsibility – These sessions are for personal growth and guidance; they do not replace medical, psychological, or legal advice. All sessions are private and confidential.
Right to Refuse Service – Lorraine E Murray reserves the right to decline or discontinue a session if they feel it is not in the client’s best interest.
Contacting Connected Kids Tutors
Upon qualifying as a Connected Kids tutor, we see sight of a disclosure/police check to verify the absence of criminal convictions. Our responsibility for their status ceases once registered on our website. Should you have any concerns, we suggest you request this information directly from the Connected Kids tutor you wish to contact.
Connected Kids Ltd reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any such amendments will be communicated to you with at least 30 days’ notice prior to taking effect. However, any payment terms previously agreed upon will remain unchanged.
