Mindful Trauma-sensitive training

Working with children who are trauma-experienced requires a special set of skills as our trauma-sensitive meditation training demonstrates.

Our Mindful Trauma Energy Awareness (MTEA) training is designed to help professionals, working with children, to develop these skills.

This training helps professionals to work deeply yet gently with young people affected by trauma using mindful skills and energy awareness.

The MTEA combines trauma knowledge and research from the Western perspective with Eastern energy and meditation practices.

If you currently work with young people, the training can add to your professional abilities to help:

  • guide young people affected by trauma to access and use effective mindful self-regulation skills
  • to empower them to trust their insights and develop self-compassion
  • guide them to connect and mindfully use their personal strengths and inner resources
  • support them to develop mindful and simple energy skills for self-supporting, healthy choices.

The course brings trauma-sensitive mindfulness and intuitive energy skills into your restorative professional practices through self-paced modules and online group support.

This trauma-sensitive meditation training will teach you skills specifically for young people (up to age of 18).

“I have found it immensely helpful and there are so many ways it has helped me but also all the children I work with.”

“I loved the training. The mind-body connection was very apparent. As someone whose work has been centered around trauma for the last 3 years – I thought I knew a lot but I have so many takeaways from this course. I would recommend this to others who are looking for person-centered and trauma-sensitive training that will support their work with children and young people. “
