Mindful Trauma-sensitive training
Working with children who are trauma-experienced requires a special set of skills, as our trauma-sensitive meditation training demonstrates.
The training guides professionals to bring trauma-sensitive mindful skills and energy awareness into their work with young people – combining current trauma knowledge and research with Eastern energy and meditation practices to aid recovery.
As a professional, the training can complement your work with young people:
- help them access and use practical mindful self-regulation skills
- guide them to trust their insights and develop self-compassion
- gently and intuitively help them process the energy of grief
- show them how to connect and mindfully use their personal strengths and inner resources
- help them to develop mindful and simple energy skills for self-supporting, healthy choices.
In the MTEA training, you can access CE/CPD points. You can choose either to secure certification or module-only access.
This course brings trauma-sensitive mindfulness and intuitive energy skills into your restorative professional practices through self-study modules with online email support throughout. You have the option for further support through optional online group sessions/ACES healing workshop – helping you teach skills for young people (up to age of 18).
