We’ve made a few tweaks to make your profile more SEO-friendly (SEO means search engine optimisation — in real terms, this means your profile link is now structured in a way that helps search engines like Google making it easier for potential clients to find you when they search online).
Website links from your profile
Broken links
As part of this refresh, any tutor website links that no longer work have been removed from the register.
Website links
Your website link must take potential clients to your own website. If you’re listed alongside other professionals on a shared site, the link must go directly to your unique individual page — not to listing page with people who are not part of the Connected Kids program.
Certificate photos
We no longer feature tutors holding their certificates on the main register page.
If you’d like a different photo used on your profile instead, please send it to us by email as a jpeg by the end of July 2026.
If providing a new photo, please use a photo of you (not a logo).
If you’re using a professionally taken photo, please confirm by email that you have the rights to use it and, where required by the licence, credit the source or photographer to avoid any copyright issues.
Contact detail changes — free
If your contact details (email address, website, postcode/town, telephone number) have changed, just email us, and we’ll update them free of charge up until 31st August 2026. It’s worth doing this promptly — a potential client trying to reach you on an old number or email address can quickly become frustrated!

If you’d like your profile refreshed, simply send us your updated information and we’ll upload it for you. You can purchase this option here.

You’ll notice we’ve now added a speciality to your profile (for example, schools or anxiety), selected based on the information you originally provided. If we haven’t added one, then it wasn’t clear from the original profile text. Please email us one to add for you. The first one is free.
If you’d like to add further specialities, these can be purchased here.
Once you purchase, just email us to let us know which ones you’d like to add. Please note: any speciality must be based on real experience you’ve already gained, or relevant prior training outside of Connected Kids — not areas you hope to work in one day.

We’ve decided to keep the register running for everyone already listed.
However, it will close to new applications from the end of 2026. From that point, it becomes an exclusive club — only those already on board will remain.
