Es por eso que configuro <a href=\"https:\/\/teachchildrenmeditation.com\/es\/meditation-benefits-connected-kids-training\/\">Ni\u00f1os conectados<\/a> como he presenciado, muchas veces, c\u00f3mo <strong>ense\u00f1ar meditaci\u00f3n a ni\u00f1os, adolescentes y adultos ayuda a mejorar su salud mental.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pero la salud mental no es el panorama completo. Tenemos que considerar la salud f\u00edsica y emocional y estos est\u00e1n indisolublemente ligados a nuestra salud mental.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Me encanta el hecho de que <strong>el mundo est\u00e1 despertando a los beneficios de la meditaci\u00f3n<\/strong> en forma de atenci\u00f3n plena. Me presentaron una maravillosa meditaci\u00f3n consciente llamada &#039;el descanso de la autocompasi\u00f3n&#039; y me inspir\u00f3 tanto que lo he grabado (para ni\u00f1os, adolescentes y adultos) para que pueda escucharlo al final de este blog.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, tengo curiosidad por algunos otros aspectos que se relacionan con nuestra salud mental: el suicidio y la soledad.<\/p>\n<h2>Soledad y meditaci\u00f3n<\/h2>\n<p>La soledad Creo que es una epidemia que quiz\u00e1s parece m\u00e1s obvia cuando las personas envejecen; en otras palabras, la familia crece, los amigos se mudan o mueren y la persona mayor se queda viviendo sola.<a href=\"https:\/\/teachchildrenmeditation.com\/es\/resources-to-help-you-teach-kids-meditation-mindfulness\/meditations-for-teenskids\/meditations-for-children\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-5128\" src=\"https:\/\/www.teachchildrenmeditation.com\/files\/2018\/07\/shutterstock_248899600.jpg\" alt=\"loneliness and meditation kids and teens\" width=\"266\" height=\"178\" srcset=\"https:\/\/teachchildrenmeditation.com\/files\/2018\/07\/shutterstock_248899600.jpg 500w, https:\/\/teachchildrenmeditation.com\/files\/2018\/07\/shutterstock_248899600-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/teachchildrenmeditation.com\/files\/2018\/07\/shutterstock_248899600-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 266px) 100vw, 266px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, la investigaci\u00f3n muestra que no solo afecta nuestra salud mental;\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/programmes\/articles\/3MQ6z2vJGGtPFL71Ns3XPNB\/take-part-in-the-bbc-loneliness-experiment\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">soledad<\/a> puede afectar nuestra capacidad para combatir infecciones, elevar la presi\u00f3n arterial e incluso provocar depresi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Muchos de nosotros tenemos experiencias de soledad y esto tambi\u00e9n se aplica a los ni\u00f1os.<\/strong>\u00a0 La BBC lanz\u00f3 una encuesta en la que participaron 55.000 personas y la <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/programmes\/articles\/2yzhfv4DvqVp5nZyxBD8G23\/who-feels-lonely-the-results-of-the-world-s-largest-loneliness-study\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">resultados<\/a> fueron asombrosos; el grupo m\u00e1s grande que se siente solo tiene entre 16 y 24 a\u00f1os de edad y 40% admite sentirse solo.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfY si esa sensaci\u00f3n de soledad fuera (ir\u00f3nicamente) algo que todos compartimos y en lugar de centrarnos solo en nuestra salud mental? <strong>Aprendimos a conectarnos en los sentimientos verdaderos y m\u00e1s desafiantes que enfrentamos.\u00a0<\/strong> En otras palabras, aprendemos a no estar solos con estos sentimientos, sino a meditar con ellos, sentarnos con ellos y reconocer que, mientras miles de nosotros sentimos esto, estamos conectados a trav\u00e9s de este sentimiento. Creo que es por eso que la meditaci\u00f3n de ruptura de la autocompasi\u00f3n es una de las m\u00e1s profundas que he experimentado.<\/p>\n<h2>Soledad y dolor<\/h2>\n<p>Quiz\u00e1s tengo curiosidad por este sentimiento de soledad, ya que lo asocio con sentimientos de dolor.<\/p>\n<p>Mi viaje con el dolor se puede describir mejor como, inicialmente, un sentimiento insoportable y aplastante. <a href=\"https:\/\/teachchildrenmeditation.com\/es\/resources-to-help-you-teach-kids-meditation-mindfulness\/meditations-for-teenskids\/meditations-for-children\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-5264\" src=\"https:\/\/www.teachchildrenmeditation.com\/files\/2018\/10\/shutterstock_636941746.jpg\" alt=\"loneliness and grief and meditation kids\" width=\"252\" height=\"166\" srcset=\"https:\/\/teachchildrenmeditation.com\/files\/2018\/10\/shutterstock_636941746.jpg 500w, https:\/\/teachchildrenmeditation.com\/files\/2018\/10\/shutterstock_636941746-300x198.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 252px) 100vw, 252px\" \/><\/a>que sent\u00ed tras la repentina muerte de mi madre cuando ten\u00eda 28 a\u00f1os.\u00a0 <strong>Me sent\u00ed aislado y solo (incluso en una habitaci\u00f3n llena de maravillosos y cari\u00f1osos amigos y familiares).\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mi percepci\u00f3n fue que nadie pod\u00eda sentir lo que yo estaba sintiendo y esto me dej\u00f3 estar \/ sinti\u00e9ndome solo con eso.<\/p>\n<p>Ni siquiera pude encontrar las palabras para describir lo que estaba pasando en mi cabeza y coraz\u00f3n, as\u00ed que me sent\u00e9 con esto durante 2 a\u00f1os antes de finalmente encontrar un grupo de meditaci\u00f3n donde sent\u00ed una sensaci\u00f3n de liberaci\u00f3n y ligereza que me faltaba. En esos 2 a\u00f1os antes de empezar a meditar con regularidad, hab\u00eda tratado de evitar los sentimientos de dolor, ya que eran muy dolorosos.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Si me hubieran ense\u00f1ado, cuando era ni\u00f1o, c\u00f3mo meditar y permitir y honrar mis sentimientos,<\/strong> tal vez me hubiera recuperado m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido y no hubiera sentido el dolor exacerbado por la sensaci\u00f3n de estar solo con esos sentimientos.<\/p>\n<p>Dejemos en claro que ense\u00f1ar meditaci\u00f3n a sus hijos no se trata de garantizar que su vida est\u00e9 libre de pena o dolor. Pero mi experiencia me muestra que cuando se nos dan las herramientas de meditaci\u00f3n para ayudar a procesar nuestros pensamientos y sentimientos m\u00e1s dif\u00edciles, <strong>nos ayuda a recuperarnos y fortalece nuestra resiliencia ante los desaf\u00edos futuros e inevitables. <\/strong>Por eso debemos ense\u00f1ar meditaci\u00f3n a nuestros ni\u00f1os y adolescentes.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Escucha atenta y suicidio<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Nuestro gobierno del Reino Unido acaba de anunciar que <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/health-45804225\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ministro de prevenci\u00f3n del suicidio<\/a> debe ser designado. Estoy agradecido de que estemos tomando este tema en serio, pero debemos tener cuidado de no pensar que podemos racionalizar nuestra salida.<\/p>\n<p>Cuando una persona se quita la vida, puede haber muchas razones dadas \/ ofrecidas sobre la acci\u00f3n mientras tratamos de darle sentido, pero \u00bfy si no podemos?<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfQu\u00e9 pasa si esa persona suicida no necesita que nadie le d\u00e9 t\u00e9cnicas o herramientas para evitar que se suiciden, pero tal vez necesite<strong> simplemente para ser visto y escuchado.<\/strong>\u00a0 Quiz\u00e1s esta persona se beneficiar\u00eda de comunicar sus sentimientos y pensamientos m\u00e1s vulnerables de una manera en la que escuchemos atentamente. No hay soluciones. Sin arreglos. No discuta, culpe ni le diga a la persona que sabe c\u00f3mo se siente. Con solo estar all\u00ed, puede ser el punto de inflexi\u00f3n que necesitan &quot;.<\/p>\n<p>Mi propio padre se quit\u00f3 la vida cuando ten\u00eda poco m\u00e1s de 40 a\u00f1os. Ten\u00eda 2 hijos, 1 en camino, un buen trabajo y un matrimonio feliz. En la ma\u00f1ana sucedi\u00f3 que parec\u00eda perfectamente normal. Sin embargo, hab\u00eda planeado su suicidio.<\/p>\n<p>Hay mucho da\u00f1o colateral cuando alguien se quita la vida. Nunca querr\u00edan lastimar a nadie y simplemente est\u00e1n tratando de escapar de su propio dolor y (me imagino) la soledad que sienten con este dolor.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Por eso hago lo que hago.\u00a0<\/strong> Me apasiona compartir y ense\u00f1ar meditaci\u00f3n con otros, j\u00f3venes y mayores, para ayudarnos a sentarnos con esos sentimientos vulnerables, sentirlos &#039;conscientemente&#039; y hablar sobre ellos desde el coraz\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Para ayudarnos a escuchar atentamente a aquellos que necesitan esta comprensi\u00f3n sincera.<\/p>\n<p>Descubrir que estos sentimientos y esa sensaci\u00f3n de soledad se comparten con los dem\u00e1s.
