Quiz\u00e1s nuestros motivos (como adultos) sean ayudar a nuestros hijos a comportarse mejor y a ser m\u00e1s educados y amables. Quiz\u00e1s queremos que hagan sus deberes o que se vayan a dormir cuando se lo pedimos. Si bien estos beneficios son maravillosos, quiz\u00e1s tambi\u00e9n deber\u00edamos considerar que al ense\u00f1arles meditaci\u00f3n, los ni\u00f1os aprenden a reconocer, sentir y estar presentes con sus emociones. La meditaci\u00f3n puede ense\u00f1arles a tomar conciencia de sus sentimientos para que no se rijan por ellos a medida que envejecen (\u00bfpuedes pensar en alg\u00fan adulto que conozcas que se salga del control ante la menor cosa?)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cambio de procesamiento<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A menudo, cuando tenemos grandes cambios en nuestras vidas, olvidamos que los ni\u00f1os tambi\u00e9n los est\u00e1n experimentando a trav\u00e9s de sus sentimientos y pensamientos. Sin embargo, podr\u00edamos pensar que son demasiado j\u00f3venes o peque\u00f1os para verse afectados por estos cambios. Un cambio de hogar, alguien de la familia muriendo o con mala salud, padres divorciados, etc. Cuando suceden estas cosas, los ni\u00f1os sienten no solo sus propios sentimientos sino tambi\u00e9n la energ\u00eda de los sentimientos de las personas que los rodean. Observan las l\u00e1grimas, la infelicidad y el dolor que experimentan las personas y, por lo general, se sienten impotentes e incapaces de expresar lo que sienten. A veces, como adultos, nos olvidamos de &quot;registrarnos&quot; para ver c\u00f3mo est\u00e1n los ni\u00f1os cuando se producen estos cambios.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sentimientos enterrados que salen a la superficie<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Recientemente tuve una conversaci\u00f3n interesante con alguien que me dijo que su hija era muy peque\u00f1a cuando su esposo (el padre de la ni\u00f1a) hab\u00eda muerto. Pensaron que estaba bien y que estaba sobrellevando la situaci\u00f3n hasta que un a\u00f1o despu\u00e9s, casi al d\u00eda, comenz\u00f3 a tener ataques de ansiedad y no quer\u00eda ir a la escuela. Cuando se sentaron a charlar sobre ello, todas estas emociones sobre la muerte de su padre se desbordaron.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Meditaci\u00f3n y Emociones<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La meditaci\u00f3n no es una v\u00eda r\u00e1pida para procesar emociones y sentimientos fuertes ni diferirlos. Pero es una forma de ayudarnos a aprender a reconocerlos a medida que ocurren y a aceptarlos como normales en cualquier circunstancia en la que nos encontremos. A menudo pienso que la meditaci\u00f3n les ense\u00f1a a nuestros hijos que tienen permiso para sentir y pensar lo que est\u00e1n sintiendo. que est\u00e1 bien.
