Este retiro estaba dedicado a ayudar a los adultos a hacer que la meditaci\u00f3n fuera accesible para los j\u00f3venes.<\/p>\n<p>Incluso hoy, esta experiencia sigue inspir\u00e1ndome mientras capacito a personas para ense\u00f1ar meditaci\u00f3n. Llegu\u00e9 a pensar en Semillas de paz con Thich Nhat Hanh como un momento que cambi\u00f3 mi vida porque tuve el privilegio de caminar, respirar y practicar con \u00e9l.<\/p>\n<p>En aquella \u00e9poca, el entrenamiento en mindfulness en Occidente estaba dirigido principalmente a adultos, pero Thay (como lo llamaban cari\u00f1osamente sus alumnos) fue un pionero y se propuso alentar a los educadores y otros profesionales a compartir estas habilidades transformadoras con los j\u00f3venes. Afortunadamente, este concepto pionero ahora se ha extendido a nivel mundial en escuelas y hogares.<\/p>\n<p>En este blog, comparto el impacto que esta experiencia tuvo en m\u00ed y en mi trabajo, al mismo tiempo que les traigo m\u00e1s semillas de paz y pasos pr\u00e1cticos para brindar habilidades de caminar conscientemente a los ni\u00f1os que les importan profundamente.<\/p>\n<div class='widescreen divider plain'><\/div>\n<h3>Meditaci\u00f3n para ni\u00f1os: caminar con atenci\u00f3n plena<\/h3>\n<p>En el retiro, muchos de nosotros est\u00e1bamos entusiasmados por aprender t\u00e9cnicas espec\u00edficas para aplicar en las aulas. Pero la experiencia se convirti\u00f3 en mucho m\u00e1s que adquirir habilidades. A lo largo de cada sesi\u00f3n, Thay nos ense\u00f1\u00f3 pr\u00e1cticas sencillas que desarrollaron nuestra br\u00fajula interna hacia la paz.<\/p>\n<p>Una pr\u00e1ctica que me result\u00f3 muy familiar fue la caminata consciente. Al principio, la hab\u00eda descartado porque no estaba segura de c\u00f3mo pod\u00eda practicarla sin el desaf\u00edo adicional de ense\u00f1ar a ni\u00f1os que podr\u00edan aburrirse f\u00e1cilmente o encontrarla divertida.<\/p>\n<p>Thich Nhat Hanh nos ense\u00f1\u00f3 que caminar con atenci\u00f3n plena no era simplemente una forma de transportar nuestro cuerpo, sino una invitaci\u00f3n a habitar plenamente cada momento. Thay nos gui\u00f3 con delicadeza por las calles de Londres y nos record\u00f3 que deb\u00edamos \u201ccaminar como si estuvi\u00e9ramos besando la Tierra con los pies\u201d.<\/p>\n<h3>Caminata consciente con Thich Nhat Hanh<\/h3>\n<p>Cuando comenc\u00e9 a practicar, me sent\u00ed tonto y un poco divertido, pero mi ego estaba decidido a &quot;seguir el ritmo&quot;.<\/p>\n<p>Entonces algo cambi\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Sent\u00ed una oleada de paz y gratitud que flu\u00eda a trav\u00e9s de m\u00ed. Me emocion\u00e9 sin ninguna raz\u00f3n l\u00f3gica e imagin\u00e9 que era la energ\u00eda del amor que estaba sintiendo que irradiaba Thay. Su pr\u00e1ctica consciente estaba apoyando la m\u00eda al crear el espacio para que yo pudiera sintonizarme con los colores, los p\u00e1jaros, los sonidos, la naturaleza y este momento de la vida.<\/p>\n<p>Sent\u00ed que una alegr\u00eda incontenible se apoderaba de m\u00ed. Sent\u00ed que se me llenaban los ojos de l\u00e1grimas mientras continuaba mi caminata, invadida por una sensaci\u00f3n de interconexi\u00f3n y gratitud. Fue un momento que llevar\u00eda conmigo mucho despu\u00e9s de haber dejado el retiro, un recordatorio de que la paz siempre est\u00e1 a un paso de distancia.<\/p>\n<div class='widescreen divider plain'><\/div>\n<h3>Cultivando semillas de paz: pr\u00e1ctica de caminar con atenci\u00f3n plena<\/h3>\n<p>Hab\u00eda practicado la meditaci\u00f3n durante a\u00f1os, pero la gu\u00eda de Thich Nhat Hanh me mostr\u00f3 formas sencillas y accesibles de conectar con mi propia paz interior. Caminar, una actividad aparentemente com\u00fan, se convirti\u00f3 en una forma profunda de estar completamente presente. Mientras caminaba con intenci\u00f3n, not\u00e9 sensaciones que a menudo pasan desapercibidas: la sensaci\u00f3n de mis pies tocando la tierra, el suave ritmo de mis pasos, la respiraci\u00f3n fluyendo hacia adentro y hacia afuera. Sent\u00ed cada paso como un regalo, d\u00e1ndome cuenta de lo precioso que pod\u00eda ser cada momento cuando se viv\u00eda con conciencia.<\/p>\n<p>Con cada paso, pod\u00edamos experimentar el mundo de una manera nueva: sinti\u00e9ndonos conectados, agradecidos y en paz. Este acto de caminar lentamente, con un prop\u00f3sito, se convirti\u00f3 en una meditaci\u00f3n en s\u00ed mismo, una oraci\u00f3n conmovedora que pod\u00eda cultivar la calma interior y la gratitud.<\/p>\n<p>Fue una experiencia humilde darme cuenta de que lo m\u00e1s importante era cultivar mi paz interior antes de poder compartirla verdaderamente con los dem\u00e1s, especialmente con los ni\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>A trav\u00e9s de mis propias experiencias e investigaciones, he aprendido que los ni\u00f1os perciben nuestro estr\u00e9s y nos lo reflejan. Esto los ayudar\u00eda a explorar sus sentimientos y su energ\u00eda a trav\u00e9s del movimiento.
